Breath control or Pranayama is an exercise using the breath to energize, calm or bring the body into the desired state.
Simply learning to breathe properly is a good place to start for beginners. As babies, we instinctually know how to breathe and through life events and circumstances we sacrifice the breath instead of having a healthy response. Now as adults we need to go back to our original knowing to unlock the healing that the breath contains.
